Friends of Brewster Elders/FOBE

The Friends of Brewster Elders is a 501 (3) (C) corporation with the mission of providing programs, entertainment and financial help where needed to keep the senior community of Brewster healthy and happy. We also assist the Council on Aging when they have needs that are not covered in their budget from the Town of Brewster.

Current members are: Sheila Anderson, Donna Bowie (Sea Captains’ Thrift Shop Manager) Sally Cash (Recording Secretary), Stephen Costello, Bob Deloye (COA Liaison), Ronnie Dickens, Suzanne Dean, Julianne Deloye, Jane Hester (Treasurer), Jacqui Hanson, Joyce O’Neil, and Alice Stelzer (President).

The Friends of Brewster Elders operates the Sea Captains’ Thrift Shop, located at 66 Harwich Rd., Brewster. Their summer hours (from April to January) are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday thru Saturday; the winter hours (from January to March). Their telephone # is 508-896-8180.

You can find eerything at Sea Captains’, including a wonderful array of fashions for both men and women, scarves, jewelry, books, household goods and small furniture.
