Following the Town’s recent acquisition of the former Cape Cod Sea Camps properties, the Select Board has created two new advisory committees tasked with developing plans regarding future uses of both the Long Pond and Bay sites. These committees will be responsible for identifying existing conditions; developing short-term public access plans; assembling a public engagement strategy to ensure broad community input; identifying and evaluating potential partner organizations; and developing comprehensive long-term plans for Town Meeting consideration. Residents are invited to submit letters of interest and completed applications to Erika Mawn, email@example.com, in the office of the Select Board, by January 21, 2022, no later than 4PM. Residents are asked to specify which of the committees they are primarily interested in serving on. Part-time residents may be selected to serve as at-large members of these ad hoc committees. Appointments are expected to be made by the Select Board in February 2022.
