The Brewster Board of Assessors has completed its comprehensive reassessment of all classes of property in the Town of Brewster in compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 56. The Department of Revenue’s Bureau of Local Assessment has granted preliminary certification and authorized public disclosure of the proposed values.
There were required assessment changes for Fiscal Year 2014. The changes comply with the Department of Revenue’s statistical standards and reflect sales that occurred in 2011 and 2012.
Printouts with the preliminary FY 14 assessments will be available for taxpayer review at the Brewster Town Hall Assessors Office, the Brewster Ladies Library and the Council on Aging during normal business hours. This file is also available in PDF or Excel format. Property record cards with the proposed values, which represent the full and fair cash value as of January 1, 2013, can be accessed online at our assessor's database.
