The Cape Cod Selectmen and Councilor’s Association (CCSCA) held their annual meeting with the Cape and Islands legislative delegation on Friday, March 8. The legislators provided an overview of their current activities including work on bills related to climate change, coastal resiliency, the opiate crisis, housing, clean energy, and vaping. The legislators, though members of both political parties, stressed how effectively they work together on behalf of the residents of Cape Cod and the Islands. Dave Whitney and Mary Chaffee represented Brewster at the meeting.
CCSCA is an organization that brings together the 98 elected officials from the Cape and Islands to advance the interests of the region. The group fosters the exchange of ideas that improve local municipal government.
