Cyanobacteria Advisory For Cliff Pond and Grassy Pond, Nickerson State Park

  

Visual evidence provided by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) indicate the presence of a cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) bloom at Cliff Pond and Grassy Pond in Nickerson State Park.  Per DPH recommendation, a public health advisory was issued on September 6, 2022 for Cliff Pond and Grassy Pond by Nickerson State Park warning against any contact with the water.
