Millstone Property Community Housing Engagement Session Tuesday March 10th 6PM

The Brewster Affordable Housing Trust (BAHT) will be holding a community engagement session on March 10th from 6-8PM at the Brewster Ladies Library, 1822 Main Street, to discuss potential community housing opportunities for the Town owned Millstone property. This 16 + acre parcel, located on the west side of Millstone Road near Agassiz Street, was designated for Community Housing purposes at the May 2018 Town Meeting.

This is the third of a three part, sequential, community engagement series which began in fall 2019. Reports from the first two sessions are available on the Housing Office Webpage. The March 10th session will include an explanation about the intentional pre-development process thus far, results of the visual preference survey, and the presentation of three conceptual sketches completed by Bohler Engineering as part of the property’s pre-feasibility study. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the sketches. The BAHT and consultants from Barrett Planning Group and Mass Housing Partnership will be participating in the session. All interested parties are welcome to attend. For more information, please contact Jill Scalise, Brewster Housing Coordinator, at or 508-896-3701 ext. 1169.
