Thank you, Brewster! Over 875 Housing Needs Surveys were received and are currently being compiled to provide guidance in updating the Town’s Housing Plan. Now that the survey is complete, two additional participation opportunities are available.
Community Conversation Kits are available for anyone, or any group, interested in hosting a one-time small group to discuss Brewster’s housing situation. These meetings can be in-person or virtual. Information from these discussions will help inform the Town’s new Housing Plan. The kits are self-contained, provide needed material for the discussions, and can be accessed through the Community Conversation Kit link here. The Housing Office is offering staff guidance, printed materials, and assistance to facilitate meetings.
A Virtual Community Housing Forum (hppmeeting22.pdf (brewster-ma.gov)) will also be held on Thursday April 28th at 6PM. This meeting, hosted by the Housing Partnership, will provide an opportunity to learn more about the initial Housing Production Plan update findings and to share thoughts about Brewster’s housing needs as well as potential goals and strategies.
