Oyster Sunday Update

The last two Oyster Sunday events of the season will be held on November 22 and November 29 at Mants Landing.

On November 22, the Brewster Department of Natural Resources is coordinating a food drive for the Lower Cape Outreach Food Pantry. Please bring nonperishable food items in support of this event. With a low tide at 10:45 am that day, residents are encouraged to arrive no earlier than 9:45.

This year, the Town is able to extend the Oyster Sunday Program one week later through a Woods Hole Sea Grant in partnership with Cape Cod Cooperative Extension. These grant funds will help the Town to support local commercial aquaculturalists impacted by COVID-19. With a low tide at 4:30PM on the 29th, residents are encouraged to arrive at 3:15 as the oyster beds will close at 4:15PM due to sunset.

For questions, please call the Natural Resources Department at 508-896-4546.
