The Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment offers a helpline for COVID related questions, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm, at 1-774-330-3001. 

Due to current public health data and state restrictions, Town offices are closed to the public until further notice.

Transportation

COA-BUS SCHEDULE:
Nutrition Center: Round-trip ride to Senior Center every Monday-Friday for lunch at no cost.

Grocery Shopping: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:30am - reservation necessary by calling 508-896-2737. This shopping trip makes stops at The Christmas Tree Shop, Stop and Shop and TJ Maxx in Orleans and Shaw’s Market, CVS and the other shops at Skaket Corners. $2.00 per round-trip.

Orleans Daycare Center: Round-trip every Monday-Thursday at no cost.

VOLUNTEER MEDICAL DRIVERS: Volunteer drivers are available for transportation to medical appointments in their personal cars. Please call the COA as soon as you make an appointment or AT LEAST FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE so that we can find a volunteer to provide your ride. Please notify the COA if you cannot keep your appointment so we can notify our drivers. Make sure your house number is visible from the road. Although there is no fee for this service, donations are appreciated. We do not provide rides further than Hyannis. Appointments should be scheduled between 8:30am and 2:30pm.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE MEDICAL VAN: Limited volunteer drivers are available for transportation to medical appointments in our handicap accessible vehicles. Please call the COA as soon as you make an appointment or AT LEAST ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE, so that we can find a volunteer to provide your ride. Please notify the COA if you cannot keep your appointment so we can notify our drivers. Make sure your house number is visible from the road. All medical rides are made possible thru MA Executive Office of Elder Affairs and the Federal Administration for Community Living as funding sources. Although there is no fee for this service, donations are appreciated. Thank you for your cooperation.

DART – Dial-A-Ride Service:

CCRTA provides daily (demand response) service that is a door-to-door, ride by appointment, transportation service. This service is available to all Cape Cod residents for any purpose. DART service is available Monday through Friday in all towns from 7am to 7pm, on Saturdays from 9am to 7pm, and on Sundays 9am to 1pm in most towns.
